COMPANY PROFILE CURTIS Automotive Devices, Inc. was founded in 1944 in Dayton, Ohio and was incorporated in that State for the purposes of designing and manufacturing valves for the automotive industry, and Quick Drain Valves for aircraft. This product line became known as Curtis Superior Valves. The Company moved to Bedford, Indiana in 1948. In 1958 it moved again into new facilities in Westfield, Indiana. By 1963 the Company had divested itself of all automotive products, added new products such as Insecticidal Aerosol Generators, other electro-mechanical devices and changed it's name to Curtis Dyna-Products Corporation. The Superior Valve product line was separated from Curtis-Dyna Products Corporation in 1986 and moved to Arizona, where it was Incorporated as Curtis Superior Valve Co., Inc., located at 3122 W. Clarendon Ave, Phoenix, AZ 85017. From this location the company continues to supply the aerospace industry with over forty (40) standard Quick Drain Valve designs and has recently added five (5) Quick Drain Hoses designed to work with the Quick Drain valves, preventing messy spills and making a safer, cleaner environment. Curtis Superior Valve Co., Inc., has over sixty (60) years experience designing and manufacturing valves, engineered for superior performance, and it's Quality Systems are registered and meet International Standard ISO 9001:2000 AS9100 Rev B, Military Standard Mil-I-45208 and FAA TSO-C76 requirements. |
